RoHS “Manufacturer”

RoHS “Manufacturer”

For RoHS purposes, you qualify as a “manufacturer” if:
  1. You manufacture, assemble, or design electrical and electronic equipment (EEE); and
  2. The EEE in question is a product, or is part of a product, which is placed into the European Economic Area (EEA) by another party in the supply chain.
If you meet these criteria, you are considered a “manufacturer” under RoHS even if you are acting as an individual and not through a company, and even if you are not located in the EEA.
