RoHS Overview

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances.   

RoHS may require your company to test and declare whether some products contain certain chemicals beyond harmful levels.  
 
In a nutshell, RoHS applies to any of your company’s products if: 

  1. You are a manufacturer, importer, distributer, or authorized representative of a product placed into the European Economic Area (EEA); and 
  2. That product contains electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).
