What Is a Chemical Safety Report (CSR)?
A chemical safety report (CSR) is a document that contains details on the environmental and health hazards of chemicals in a product subject to REACH. Suppliers only need to prepare and provide a CSR if they are manufacturing, importing, or distributing more than ten (10) tons of a product in the EEA.
A CSR must provide details on both the hazards the product presents, as well as how to safely handle and dispose of the product to mitigate those hazards.
